It contains the previously cited Hadīth reported by Ibn ‘Umar in the chapter on “travelers saying Takbīr when they go up high ground”.
987/1 - Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: We returned with the Prophet (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him) from a journey; and when we reached the outskirts of Madīnah, he said: “Āyibūn, tā’ibūn, ‘ābidūn, li-rabbina hāmidūn (We return, repentant, worshiping, and praising our Lord).” He continued saying that till we entered Madīnah. 1) We should show gratitude to our Lord and recite abundant Dhikr (remembrance of Allah) when we are blessed with reaching our hometown.
2) A person’s heart should be constantly attached to repentance to Allah Almighty and returning to Him.
