قال الله تعالىٰ: {يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ ٱجتَنِبُواْ كَثِيرا مِّنَ ٱلظَّنِّ إِنَّ بَعضَ ٱلظَّنِّ إِثم} [الحجرات: 12].
Allah -Ta'ālā- berfirman, "Wahai orang-orang yang beriman! Jauhilah banyak dari prasangka, sesungguhnya sebagian prasangka itu dosa." (QS. Al-Ḥujurāt: 12)
Allah Almighty says: {O you who believe, avoid much of the suspicion, for some suspicions are sin} [Surat al-Hujurāt: 12]
1/1573ــ وعن أبي هُرَيْرَةَ رضي الله عنه أنَّ رَسُولَ الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ: «إيَّاكُمْ والظَّنَّ، فإنَّ الظَّنَّ أكْذبُ الحَديثِ». متفق عليه.
1/1573- Abu Hurairah -raḍiyallāhu 'anhu- meriwayatkan bahwa Rasulullah -ṣallallāhu 'alaihi wa sallam- bersabda, "Jauhilah prasangka, sesungguhnya prasangka itu pembicaraan yang paling dusta!" (Muttafaq 'Alaih)
1573/1- Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him) said: “Beware of suspicion, for suspicion is the falsest of speech.” [Narrated by Al-Bukhāri and Muslim]
1) التحذير من الظن، لأنه من أكبر أنواع الكذب.
1) Peringatan dari prasangka, karena prasangka termasuk jenis dusta yang paling besar.
1) The Hadīth warns of suspicion as it is one of the worst types of lying.
2) إن إحسان الظن بالمسلمين دليل علىٰ صدق إيمان العبد.
2) Berbaik sangka kepada kaum muslimin adalah bukti kebenaran iman seorang hamba.
2) Thinking well of Muslims is a sign of sincere faith.
