فِيهِ حديثُ ابْنِ عُمَرَ السَّابقُ في باب (تكبِيرِ المسافِر إذا صَعِدَ الثّنَايَا).
It contains the previously cited Hadīth reported by Ibn ‘Umar in the chapter on “travelers saying Takbīr when they go up high ground”.
1/987ــ وعن أَنسٍ رضي الله عنه قال: أَقْبَلْنَا مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم، حَتَّىٰ إذا كُنَّا بِظَهْرِ المَدِينَةِ قال: «آيِبُونَ، تَائِبُونَ، عَابِدُونَ، لِرَبِّنَا حَامِدُونَ» فَلَمْ يَزَلْ يَقُولُ ذلِكَ حَتَّىٰ قَدِمْنَا المَدِينَةَ. رواه مسلم.
987/1 - Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: We returned with the Prophet (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him) from a journey; and when we reached the outskirts of Madīnah, he said: “Āyibūn, tā’ibūn, ‘ābidūn, li-rabbina hāmidūn (We return, repentant, worshiping, and praising our Lord).” He continued saying that till we entered Madīnah. بظهر المدنية: بمحل تظهر فيه مدينة رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم.

1) إظهار شكر الله تعالىٰ، والإكثار من ذكره عند نعمة الوصول إلىٰ البلد.
1) We should show gratitude to our Lord and recite abundant Dhikr (remembrance of Allah) when we are blessed with reaching our hometown.
2) علىٰ العبد أن يعلق قلبه بالتوبة، والإنابة إلىٰ الله تعالىٰ أبداً.
2) A person’s heart should be constantly attached to repentance to Allah Almighty and returning to Him.
