141- BAB PENJELASAN BAHWA YANG SUNAH KETIKA DIKATAKAN KEPADA ORANG YANG MEMINTA IZIN, "SIAPA ANDA?" SUPAYA DIA MENJAWAB, "POLAN" DENGAN MENYEBUT NAMA YANG DIA DIKENAL DENGANNYA, BAIK NAMA ASLI ATAUPUN KUN-YAH (NAMA GANTI), DAN MAKRUHNYA JAWABAN "SAYA" DAN YANG SEMISALNYA

874/1 - In the famous Hadīth about Isrā’ (the Night Journey), Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Prophet (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him) said: “Then Jibrīl (Gabriel) ascended with me to the nearest heaven and requested that the gate be opened. He was asked: ‘Who is it?’ He replied: ‘Jibrīl.’ He was asked: ‘Who is with you?’ He said: ‘Muhammad.’ Then, he ascended to the second heaven and then the third then the fourth and all the heavens. At every gate, he was asked: ‘Who is it?’ He would reply: ‘Jibrīl.’” [Narrated by Al-Bukhāri and Muslim]

1/874- Anas -raḍiyallāhu 'anhu- meriwayatkan dalam hadis yang masyhur tentang peristiwa Isra bahwa Rasulullah -ṣallallāhu 'alaihi wa sallam- bersabda, "Kemudian Jibril membawaku naik ke langit paling rendah (pertama), lalu dia minta dibukakan, dikatakan kepadanya, 'Siapa ini?' Dia menjawab, 'Jibril.' Dikatakan, 'Siapa yang bersamamu?' Dia menjawab, 'Muhammad.'" Selanjutnya dia naik ke langit kedua, ketiga, keempat, dan seterusnya, dikatakan di pintu setiap langit, "Siapa ini?" Maka Jibril menjawab, "Jibril." (Muttafaq 'Alaih)

875/2 - Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: “One night, I went out and found the Messenger of Allah (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him) walking alone. I kept walking in the shadow of the moon, and he looked around and saw me. He said: ‘Who is it?’ I said: ‘Abu Dharr.’ (to the rest of the Hadīth) [Narrated by Al-Bukhāri and Muslim]

2/875- Abu Żarr -raḍiyallāhu 'anhu- berkata, Aku pernah keluar pada satu malam, ternyata Rasulullah -ṣallallāhu 'alaihi wa sallam- sedang berjalan seorang diri. Lalu aku pun berjalan di bawah bayangan bulan, lantas beliau menoleh dan melihatku seraya bertanya, "Siapa ini?" Aku menjawab, "Abu Żarr." (Muttafaq 'Alaih)

876/3 - Um Hāni’ (may Allah be pleased with her) reported: “I went to the Prophet (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him) while he was taking a bath and Fātimah was concealing him. He asked: ‘Who is this?’ I said: ‘I am Um Hāni’.’” [Narrated by Al-Bukhāri and Muslim]

3/876- Ummu Hāni` -raḍiyallāhu 'anhā- berkata, Aku datang menemui Nabi -ṣallallāhu 'alaihi wa sallam- ketika beliau sedang mandi dan beliau ditutupi oleh Fatimah. Maka beliau bertanya, "Siapa ini?" Aku menjawab, "Aku Ummu Hāni`." (Muttafaq 'Alaih)

1) It is recommended that a person seeking permission to enter introduces himself so as to end any sense of alienation and replace it with familiarity.

1) Anjuran mengenalkan diri ketika meminta izin supaya kerenggangan bisa hilang dan keakraban terwujud.

2) He should introduce himself by his name or nickname and anyone else accompanying him.

2) Mengenalkan diri dilakukan dengan cara orang yang meminta izin menyebut namanya, kun-yah atau nama gantinya, dan orang yang bersamanya.

877/4 - Jābir (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: I went to the Prophet (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him) and knocked on the door. He said: “Who is it?” I said: “Me.” He remarked: “Me, me?!” He sounded as if he disliked it. [Narrated by Al-Bukhāri and Muslim]

4/877- Jābir -raḍiyallāhu 'anhu- berkata, "Aku pernah datang menemui Nabi -ṣallallāhu 'alaihi wa sallam- seraya mengetuk pintu, maka beliau bertanya, 'Siapa ini?' Aku menjawab, 'Saya.' Beliau berkata, 'Saya, saya?!' Sepertinya beliau tidak menyukai hal itu." (Muttafaq 'Alaih)

1) Upon seeking permission to enter, it is disliked that a person says, “It’s me, it’s me,” if these words do not make him known.

1) Makruh mengucapkan "Ini saya" ketika meminta izin, jika ucapan itu tidak mengandung pengenalan diri.

2) It is permissible to criticize the person who violates the proper etiquette and to teach him what is right.

2) Perintah untuk mengingkari orang yang tidak menunaikan adab dan mengajarinya adab yang benar.
