146- BAB ANJURAN MENANYAKAN KEADAAN ORANG YANG SAKIT KEPADA KELUARGANYA

910/1 - Ibn ‘Abbās (may Allah be pleased with him and his father) reported that ‘Ali ibn Abi Tālib (may Allah be pleased with him) came out of the Prophet’s house during his final illness. The people asked: “O Abu al-Hasan, how is the Messenger of Allah this morning?” He said: “Praise be to Allah, he is well this morning.” [Narrated by Al-Bukhāri]

1/910- Ibnu 'Abbās -raḍiyallāhu 'anhumā- meriwayatkan bahwa Ali bin Abi Ṭālib -raḍiyallāhu 'anhu- keluar dari rumah Rasulullah -ṣallallāhu 'alaihi wa sallam- pada saat beliau sakit menjelang wafat, maka orang-orang bertanya kepadanya, "Wahai Abul-Hasan! Bagaimana keadaan Rasulullah -ṣallallāhu 'alaihi wa sallam-?" Dia menjawab, "Alhamdulillah, beliau sudah membaik." (HR. Bukhari)

1) Inquiring about the sick person’s condition directly from him or through his family is something commendable and one of the rights the believers have upon one another.

1) Bertanya tentang keadaan orang yang sakit, baik secara langsung ataupun lewat perantara keluarganya, termasuk perkara yang disunahkan, dan termasuk hak persaudaraan seiman.

2) Optimism and being hopeful about recovery is the state of the fortunate believers.

2) Optimis dan merasa yakin dengan kesembuhan adalah keadaan orang beriman yang diberi taufik.
