147- BAB DOA ORANG YANG TIDAK MEMILIKI HARAPAN HIDUP

911/1 - ‘Ā’ishah (may Allah be pleased with her) reported: I heard the Prophet (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him), as he rested against me, say: “O Allah, forgive me, have mercy on me, and join me with the exalted companions.” [Narrated by Al-Bukhāri and Muslim]

1/911- Aisyah -raḍiyallāhu 'anhā- berkata, Aku mendengar Rasulullah -ṣallallāhu 'alaihi wa sallam- ketika beliau bersandar kepadaku, beliau membaca doa, "Ya Allah! Ampunilah aku dan rahmatilah aku. Masukkanlah aku pada (kedudukan) teman-teman (di tempat) tertinggi." (Muttafaq 'Alaih)

1) It is recommended to be persistent in supplicating Allah and asking Him for forgiveness and mercy at the time of death. This opens the door to optimism and hope for Allah’s mercy.

1) Anjuran mengulang-ulang doa kepada Allah -Ta'ālā- untuk memohon ampunan dan rahmat ketika menjelang kematian, karena ini akan membuka pintu harap kepada rahmat Allah.

2) It encourages us to implore Allah Almighty to join us with the exalted companions, where the prophets, the affirmers of the truth, the martyrs, and the pious will be.

2) Anjuran kepada hamba agar memohon kepada Rabb-nya untuk dipertemukan dengan ar-rafīq al-a'lā, yaitu kedudukan para nabi, siddīqīn, syuhada, dan orang-orang saleh.

912/2 - ‘Ā’ishah (may Allah be pleased with her) reported: “I saw the Messenger of Allah (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him) on his death bed, and he had a utensil with water in it next to him, into which he would insert his hand and then wipe his face with water and say: ‘O Allah, help me to bear the agonies of death.’” [Narrated by Al-Tirmidhi] [5]

2/912- Aisyah -raḍiyallāhu 'anhā- berkata, "Aku melihat Rasulullah -ṣallallāhu 'alaihi wa sallam- pada saat menjelang beliau wafat, di sisi beliau ada wadah berisi air. Beliau mencelupkan tangannya ke wadah itu lalu mengusap wajahnya dengan air sambil berdoa, "Ya Allah! Bantulah aku menghadapi beban berat kematian dan sekaratnya." (HR. At-Tirmizi) [5].

1) It describes the severity of the agonies of death, and the need to persistently ask Allah Almighty to grant support in this situation. Even the prophets (peace be upon them) implored their Lord to make them firm, given the gravity of this state.

1) Menggambarkan beratnya sekarat kematian serta anjuran memohon kepada Allah -Ta'ālā- supaya dibantu dan diteguhkan di dalamnya. Bahkan para nabi -'alaihimuṣ-ṣalātu was-salām- sekalipun, mereka tetap memohon keteguhan karena beratnya perkara sekarat tersebut.

2) Supplicating Allah Almighty alleviates the agonies of death that a dying person suffers.

2) Kembali kepada Allah -Ta'ālā- dengan doa akan meringankan beratnya sekarat menjelang kematian.
